SirAiva - Brinca Na Barriga feat. Pacman (Play on the Belly) Lyrics

Original Lyrics

Brinca na barriga (x4)

Dança como se a vida dependesse disso
Não se vê anel no dedo,
Nem um compromisso
Passa o mão no cabelo
Lança-me um feitiço
Fico meio burro
Não queria muito isso
Vamos até minha casa
Para um copo e som
Ela tira a roupa toda menos o vison

Nado nele e nano
Brinca na barriga quando o joão pestana cai
Não faz barulho, só levanta e sai

Brinca na barriga
João Pestana cai
Brinca na barriga
Só levanta e sai (x2)

Esquece a maquilhagem cara
A tua cara, não merece estar escondida
Esquece a tua roupa justa
Injustamente ela assusta
A pele por debaixo dela

João Pestana cai
Só levanta e sai

Brinca na barriga
João Pestana cai
Brinca na barriga
Só levanta e sai (x4)

English Translation

Play on the belly (x4)

Dance like life depends on it
It doesn't see any ring on the finger
Not even a commitment
Your hand through the hair
Gave me a spell
I stay half dumb
I didn't want it that much
Let's go till my home
For a glass and a song
She takes her clothes off unless the vison
It's just filet mignon like it says don
First drags the wing and then the duvet

Chorus
Play on the belly
João Pestana falls
Play on the belly
Stands and walks away (x4)

Baby's smell from head to toes
Good thing, come, do the cafuné
Little chair for another quickie
We hold each other until morning comes
Eye, clear, big as an ocean
Swimming in it is easy
I swim in it and quickie
Play on the belly when João Pestana falls
Don't make noise, just stand and goes away

Chorus

Forget the expensive make up
Your face doesn't deserve to be hidden
Forget your tight clothes
Unfairly she scares
The skin beneath it

João Pestana falls
Only stands and walks away

Chorus

João Pestana (João Eyelash) is a sleep mythical entity, a character of portuguese children's mythology. João Pestana is the sleep coming, a very shy and skittish being who arrives slowly when everything is quiet, and he runs away at the minimum noise it happens.
When he comes, the eyes close and the eyelashes join one another, reason for any children has ever seen him. He's the equivalent to Peter Chosco, which puts in the eyes of kids a grain of sand for them to sleep, and to the english Sandman.
João Pestana is a frequent theme of lullabies and nursery rhymes, always eagerly awaited, unlike other malevolent and frightening mythical entities.
